Mexican breakfast options are becoming more popular in cafes and restaurants in the UK, apparently.
I really want to try Huevos rancheros [translation: ranchers’ eggs] – corn tortillas with fried eggs on top of them, topped with a tomato and chilli salsa.
Here’s a recent article from the Indie and here’s one from the Daily Mail. Both seem to have come about as part of the PR for Wahaca’s breakfast menus. (Previous post on Wahaca here)
The Mexican food trend is definitely building up quite strongly. Me gusta.
