TNBT: Socialcam

Socialcam is being tipped to be TNBT (with awareness being raised by a PR Week tweet today). It’s an app that lets you store video files in a cloud, so you can access them anywhere and don’t have to store large files on your devices. It also lets you put filters on video (not sure what that means).

You can also share, watch and browse videos and connect them to social networking sites.

As with all of these sites, it’s not easy to see exactly why people/brands would want to get involved at this initial hype stage, but I’m sure it will grow in the coming months.

Apparently, the service grew by over 4 million users THIS WEEKEND. That sh*t cray.
